WATER-ICE ON MARS?!
Isn't Long John Silvers supposed to give away free shrimp now?

According to the Planetary Society's website as well as Space.com, Phoenix has apparently found water-ice on Mars' northern polar surface. The article on the Planetary Society's website states very clearly that:

Phoenix has found the water-ice it came looking for in the north polar region of Mars, scientists announced during a press conference Friday, a finding that immediately began refueling excitement about the prospects for finding some kind of life on the desolate planet.

However, the NASA website is still speculative as to weather or not it is water-ice, and the Phoenix Mars Mission website still says nothing about the proof that this is actually water-ice. Either way, Phoenix scientists have discovered major ice formations on the cap of the planet, which makes for a very exciting three coming months in which the Phoenix will continue its tests on the Martian soil.

I'm just now getting around to posting the pictures that I uploaded from the pride parade, before my camera died. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get the pictures of the giant wet dance party that happened at the Seattle Center, nor of the 101 gay boys vogueing under the fountain.
